Unsecured reservations will be withheld until 18:00 (local time) on the day of arrival. Reservations will be withheld after this time (18:00) in case of an early payment or in case of the client notifying the delayed accommodation (late check-in). In case of no-show, the hotel reserves the right to operate the room (s).

In the case of people who have not booked in advance, Grand Restaurant Traian has a policy of serving guests in the order of their arrival.

Cancellation of reservation
Any cancellation of the room reservation will be sent in writing, to the e-mail address: [email protected] or to the number: + 40-232-266-666, until 18:00 on the day of arrival.

Grand Hotel Traian rates vary depending on the type of room you choose, availability, day and season, and the number of people in the room (more details on the reservation page).

Arrival and departure

Check-in can be done from 14.00.

Check-out will be done before 12.00.

If in the first day of stay the room is desired before 14:00, the request will be honored within the limit of availability and an early check-in fee of 10 lei / hour will be applied, VAT included (for the interval 07 : 00-14: 00) and 100% of the value of the night of accommodation for a check-in earlier than 07:00.

In the event that on the last day of the stay the rooms are released after 12:00, an additional charge of 10 lei / hour, VAT included (for the interval 12.00 – 18.00) and 100% of the value of the accommodation night for exceeding 18.00 hours will be applied.

Guests who leave the rooms until 12.00 can leave their luggage at the reception, in a space dedicated to this service, for a period of 24 hours at no additional cost.

For luggage left at the reception more than 24 hours will be charged storage costs.
If guests’ luggage remains in the room and after check-out at 12 noon, they will pay an additional charge for using the room (same as in the case of late check-out).

These customer requests will be clarified and honored only insofar as the hotel does not have firm confirmations for those accommodation spaces.

Accommodation for children 0-7 years

Children aged 0-7 will be accommodated free of charge when using existing beds.

For children under 2 years, there is the possibility of offering a baby cot, subject to availability.

Please let us know when booking if you need a baby cot to be able to honor the request, as long as available.

For the accommodation of children over 7 years old, the full rate will be paid.

Minor accommodation

The minor is the person who has not reached the age of 18 years.
Grand Hotel Traian does not accept the accommodation of minors who are not accompanied by their parents or legal representatives, except for those in hiking, camps, excursions, competitions or other similar activities, accompanied by teachers, coaches and guides.


For additional requests during your stay, you can use the following signs:

“DON’T HELP!” – with your permission, you will enter the room to check the utilities and cleanliness, between 7.00 and 15.00, at the time set by you and communicated at the hotel reception;
“PLEASE REPAIR THE ROOM!” – by this message you ask for cleaning in your room.

Extra guests

You can receive guests or guests in your room from 8.00 am to 10.00 pm at no additional cost. If you receive guests between 22.00 and 8.00, they will have to pay the differences of tariff and register at the reception, by completing the accommodation card.

Dress Code

Grand Hotel Traian does not practice a special dress code, but we recommend decency and respect for both other guests and staff.

Persons dressed in robes, swimsuits, t-shirts and shorts and slippers will not be accepted in the restaurant, elevators and reception of the Grand Hotel Traian.

Payment methods

Credit card payment (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, American Express), cash payment (RON), bank transfer (for billing, please present the bank-targeted PO) or tickets are accepted for the payment of the Grand Hotel Traian services / holiday vouchers.

In the latter case, please note that it is mandatory for the holder of the holiday vouchers / vouchers to be the person receiving the accommodation services and the billing will be done only on behalf of this person (the holder of the holiday vouchers / vouchers). ).

Apart from the contracts already concluded, we inform you that the payment or pre-authorization of the card is made at the time of check-in.

The services of Restaurant Traian can be paid by credit card, cash (RON) or by bank transfer.

Traditional smoking and electronic cigarette are not allowed inside the Grand Hotel Traian, according to the applicable legislation (law 349/2002 amended and supplemented by law 15/2016). The Grand Hotel Traian has outdoor smoking areas.

Grand Hotel Traian only has non-smoking rooms. In case the provisions of this regulation are not respected, a fee of 100 euros / night will be applied (the value in lei will be calculated at the NBR exchange rate on the day of payment), representing the cleaning services of the room.


The general rule does not allow the accommodation of persons with animals and birds in the hotel.

No pets or animals of any size are allowed inside the restaurant.

Breakfast is served at Restaurant Traian, located on the ground floor of the hotel, in the interval:
